The melody to "oh Boy" already came to me in 2013. It found its story when I saw the movie "oh boy" by Jan-Ole Gerster.
For me the songs talks about a generation of white men who grows up wealthy, well educated and privileged. Men in their 30s who now have to emancipate from the stereotypes of "being a strong man". At the same time as (white) men they are privileged in a patriarchal society and form part of the problem.
