With his interpretation of Jenny Thiele’s “Loonie”, Robin Flux takes the singer/songwriter pop anthem to the club. Driven by chopped vocals, pulsing synths and heavy percussion he creates a raw, bouncy UK house track with a lo-fi synth-pop touch that is deeply inspired by the early club era of the 90s.

Loonie is originally created as the soundtrack for a road trip and seduces with a minimalistic 808 beat, an electric guitar theme and siren-like vocals. Thiele’s music is composed of her crystal-clear voice and reduced lyrics that speak of wanderlust and strange sensations.
